Underground Substations
With decades of experience in engineering and fabrication, we manufacture dozens of substations on-site each year with electrical workshops on both sides of Australia to provide logistical efficiency and competitive pricing.
All substations are AS/NZS 61439 compliant. In addition, our 1000V electrical enclosures possess German certification and come with a 30kA short circuit current rating and an optional 30kA arc fault containment rating for enhanced protection.
Client flexibility is key at Murray Engineering, and our skid-based substations are available for outright purchase or on long-term and short-term hire contracts.
Our standard underground substations are 2000kVA, with customized larger options available. We manufacture dozens of substations on-site each year with electrical workshops on both sides of Australia to provide logistical efficiency and competitive pricing.
Substations are stocked in our warehouse for immediate dispatch to site for minimal lead times. We also hold stock of substation transformers in our warehouse for rapid dispatch of custom orders where required.
All substations are fully tested to assure ongoing reliability and performance before site dispatch.
