For lights and accessories, we use heavy-duty braided electrical harnesses with fuse panels mounted in-cab for a plug and play experience.

Vehicle Servicing and Repair

In addition to our extensive light vehicle offerings, Murray Engineering also boasts a vehicle service and repair department to lengthen vehicle working life. This not only increases vehicle lifespan but reduces wastage from premature wrecking and minimises client operational costs by extending asset viability and delaying expensive fleet replacements.

The LV Single Cab Fitters Tray comes complete with everything a fitter requires on a daily basis, with all required accessories fully installed including LED lights, electrical harnesses, a fire extinguisher and bracket, plus any custom kit items.

A GVM upgrade is also recommended for the vehicle due to the extra weight carried in the tray.

Standard inclusions:

  • Galvanised hose reel guard
  • Grease pod and grease reel with grease gun (air operated)
  • Hydraulic hose reel and dispenser gun (air operated- electric alternative available)
  • Air pump and air hose reel (used to power hydraulic hose and grease pod)
  • Galvanised Jerry can holder
  • Toolboxes including galvanised guards. A variety of custom toolbox configurations and styles are also available
  • Vice and galvanised vice holder
  • Hydraulic tank- 100L
  • 9kg fire extinguisher

Explosives transport boxes can be mounted to our LV Single Cab Explosives-Spec Tray or supplied individually.

Please note the explosives box requires fitting to a certified explosives tray.

All supplied explosives trays feature:

  • A dovetail rear (suitable for confined spaces underground)
  • A solid headboard (instead of a mesh headboard)
  • Hot dipped galvanization

Murray Engineering can fit the tray and install LED lights, electrical harnesses, a fire extinguisher and bracket, along with any other required accessories.

Our explosives storage boxes feature:

  • Heavy-duty construction with continuous seam welded aluminium plate
  • Fully lockable and secure with fixtures capable of withstanding 2G of lateral force
  • 70mm hardwood partitions fixed to 3mm plate, seam welded for carrying mixed loads
  • Internally lined with approved anti-incendiary material
  • Overlapped, continuous seal door openings to repel contamination

We offer a range of Kevrek Cranes which can be mounted at the front or rear of the tray depending on preference and tray configuration.

These cranes are 100% Australian-made and owned and are the product of choice for tier-one miners and contractors across Australia.

Our Kevrek Crane Trays feature:

  • 1000kg crane as standard or 700kg weight-rated option available
  • E-stop, pressure gauge and isolator mounted at the controls and a hook attachment for lifting and raising heavy items
  • Remote pendant option is also available

These crane trays are a proven performer with high-voltage electricians and pump technicians, along with a wide range of other skilled tradespeople, due to their ability to solve countless lifting problems reliably and safely.

While our standard single-cab LV trays include prefabrication for crane fitment, we also offer aftermarket installation on existing trays, including hardwiring to the existing vehicle electrics. Additionally, our dual cab tray can be modified to suit a 700kg crane.

Further options include a proximity switch for crane position and a stabiliser leg cutout switch. The cranes have an electric motor and are operated from the vehicle’s battery. As such, a dual-vehicle battery system is recommended for optimum performance, which can be included at installation.
